Training conducted by National Informatics Centre (NIC), UT Chandigarh.

The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is committed to provide the best services and livable
environment to the citizens of “City Beautiful”. It has a fleet of more than 500 vehicles under
various categories. The vehicles are further attached to different departments. Each department
maintains its own record of vehicles related to deployment, use, downtime, maintenance,
efficiency etc in physical registers. Thus, there was a need to have an online system to quickly
monitor the running and maintenance expenses, current as well as upcoming status of each
vehicle with greater efficiency in real time.
